Our dear Aunt Rita went home to the Lord on August 2, 2000. Almost twenty years later in June of 2019, a treasure trove of old family photos was discovered in her home. Most of them were from the 1940s-1950s and many of them from the 1960s onward; but, some were as far back as the early 1900s.

I was entrusted to scan these photos. That project took about three years and was completed in November 2022. The photos have been colorized here because I wanted to see what “they” saw when they were capturing that moment.
